Holy Grail offers two producers at the top of the American Wagyu market, focusing on breeding, feeding, and husbandry. Tajima steaks are descended from the Tajima black Wagyu line, and are fed a proprietary Japanese Wagyu diet with high-quality Midwest ingredients overseen by Mr. Shogo Takeda.
They are humanely raised and harvested without added hormones or antibiotics. Akaushi Wagyu is Texas-raised, landing somewhere between Prime Black Angus and A5 Japanese Wagyu. Descended from Japanese Red, a rare breed of Wagyu from the island of Kyushu, Akaushi ends up delivering beef that is lush and tender.
