Ogata farm creates rare and high quality beef from Japan. Over generations, they have developed a reputation as a top grade facility for producing beef. To be considered Maezawa beef, the farm implements strict quality controls such as a stress free environment for the cattle where they are allowed to “sleep in peace” and feeding them a proprietary diet of beer lees. This makes for beef that is smooth and tender in texture, as well as having a faint sweetness. No hormones are ever used on these cattle.
